Tim is a certified arborist and forester, and has worked in urban forestry with the US Forest Service, as well as with the private sector. Tim has experience in GIS, urban forestry inventory techniques, field and laboratory research, plant diagnostic skills, and tree care. Tim is experienced in leading workshops and demonstrations relating to urban forestry issues, including tree planting, maintenance, stewardship, and conservation. Tim re-joins the UEI team, having previously worked for UEI in 2008 as a CityRoots community forester. Most recently, Tim worked as an arborist with a tree care group in Charlotte, North Carolina.
