Gideon is a certified urban planner, and has consulted with municipalities in Washington State in order to provide services similar to UEI’s urban forestry toolkit. He has over six years of experience in comprehensive plan development, GIS mapping, analysis, data-set development, and community workshop and conference organization. In his role with UEI, Gideon will oversee the four UEI Sustainable Cities programs: Urban Forestry Tools, City Roots, Boston’s Urban Forest Coalition, and the Urban Long Term Research Areas (ULTRA) program. Gideon’s emphasis will be on Urban Forestry Tools, integration and administration of the four programs.
