Testimonials
"They're going to be seeing things for the first time. By getting the students up and involved and showing them what is out there as a possibility, it really does expand their horizons. Once they start seeing that, they really do get hooked. I think that's the great thing about urban ecology; they really do get hooked."

- Jeff Goodman, Madison Park Technical Vocational High School

Sarah is excited to return to her environmental education roots after spending three years in Detroit as a middle school science teacher. Two years were spent in Texas working for Houston Independent School's Outdoor Education Center and the other two were with Battle Creek Public School's Outdoor Education Center in Michigan. She also spent a few summers at outdoor education centers in New York and California. Sarah has a Bachelor of Science from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Forest Ecosystem Science and a Master's in Education from the University of Michigan. She is looking forward to sharing her experience and knowledge with her Greentimes students and new colleagues.
