Jessica Hittinger grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed reading, playing music, and investigating nature in her backyard. She attended Muhlenberg College, where she received her BS, double majoring in Environmental Science and Religion. Recently, she graduated from Boston University as a Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in Religion and Ecology. Her main academic interest is understanding religiously motivated ethical decisions with respect to the environment. She is looking forward to continuing to learn about the ecosystems in and around Boston through her work with UEI and helping others to do the same. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys attending Celtic music festivals, being outside, and exploring all Boston has to offer.
