Your
License Plate Can Help Keep Massachusetts'
Water Resources Clean The
Massachusetts Environmental Trust, an
organization committed to ensuring clean
water resources for all citizens, will generously
provide $40,000 over the next two years
for our CityRoots community-based urban
planting and land transformation programs
and for our urban forestry programs such
as Grow Boston Greener. With the trust's
support, UEI will be able to engage up to
400 residents in 24 planting projects, pilot
a home owner education program, manage tree
canopy goals for neighborhoods, and create
an urban forest management plan. The trust
donates about a million dollars a year to
environmental protection and education projects
statewide. These grants are funded by the
70,000 drivers who purchase environmental
