Rachael's professional journey has embodied her passion for facilitating connections and sustaining healthy life-systems. Her academic background is in Anthropology and Environmental Policy, with a focus on the various strategies that support sustainable communities. Rachael is especially compelled by grassroots, participatory approaches because they support the organic growth of habits and procedures that enable people to gain greater control of their own destiny. In this light, she has professional experience working for the public and non-profit sectors within the realm of research, management and facilitation of community-based environmental programs. Rachael has worked locally in Massachusetts, nationally, and globally to engage youth and adults from a wide range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds in a deeper understanding of their role as members of their community and citizens of our planet. After working internationally for the past four years, Rachael is excited to focus her energies on her native "Beantown" and practice her favorite mantra, "Think Globally, Act Locally."
